We are proud to announce that the Gym World Family will be sponsoring a "Wish" for a family through A Special Wish, Northeast Ohio Chapter. This fundraising effort extends to all of our athletes at Gym World, from Gym Bees to our future NCAA athletes, along with coaches to owners... let's see the impact our village can make on the community! 

Bella Angeles is a sweet, smart and fun-loving 6-year-old girl with a rare unspecified autoinflammatory disease and periodic fever syndrome caused by a gene mutation. 

Bella was in the NICU at birth on full life support and the doctors had no explanation for the cause of her pulmonary hypertension or the sudden way she started to get better. As an infant and toddler Bella was always sick with dangerously high fevers, high blood pressure, tachycardia and kidney problems.  She was seen by multiple specialists and no one could find the underlying cause. Finally, after multiple doctors and tests,  she was diagnosed with her autoinflammatory disease.  Bella's disease causes her immune system to constantly attack her body.  This has left her with one working kidney, heart, liver, joint, and GI damage.  She also has chronic pain and swelling in her joints and muscle weakness.  She is on a high dose of autoimmune suppressants to try to keep her immune system from attacking her body.

Bella’s wish is to go to Walt Disney World to meet some of her favorite characters, relax enjoy the rides and time with her family. She has two older sisters who both have competed in gymnastics and this sport is very near and dear to the families heart. Her sister, Nita, and her other sister, Sophia, compete in gymnastics.

In the spirit of giving back, we are asking your athletes to collect donations to help send Bella to Disney. In turn they will complete a skill or skills in their class in honor of her cause.

Pledges can be submitted directly by CLICKING HERE ( select Gym World Fundraiser). If you collect any cash or check donations (payable to A Special Wish), please submit them to the Front Desk or fee drop box if no one is available.

Now! It's officially time to start seeking donors. We are asking that donations are turned into the Front Desk at the gym by Saturday, 12/21.
